Cotidiano

Cotidiano is an ongoing series of paintings and studies focusing on fragments of the everyday. When I look around I am also looking inwards. My surrounds tend to become embedded in brief moments that once upon a time have left an indelible mark, in a past conversation, in far away lands I once lived in, in things I discovered I loved when I first took a good look at them.

Past and present mingle here. Some of the works in this selection date back to the early days and sit side-by-side with their newer counterparts in a mélange of timeless moments.

It feels good to interfere with linear readings of time, to depict a gaze that has no befores nor afters. Here it is play time, just the way time plays with me.
